.jpg) Amanda was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1978. She is the oldest of many children. Her mother Denise has two other children named Andrew and Brandy. Her mother Denise remarried Sylvester Shelton who has five children named Tyanna, Antwan, Kaneita, Quincy, and Marketta. Her father Richard Wagner remarried Debbie who has three children Garry, Kyle, and Jennifer (who passed away in 2008 from cancer). Amanda received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at age 15. She met her future husband Percy Manuel in 1995. On April 4th, 1997, Reverend Gary Combs officiated their wedding. They have four children named Javon, Jeffrey, Jordan, & Julia. Percy is employed at Watson Electric.
Amanda has an Associates in Business and Residential Planning. She currently attends the Art Institute for her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design.
Over the years Amanda has served as a Sunday School Teacher, lead Koffee & Koinonia, Women’s Retreat Team Member, Nursery Worker, Great Adventure Teacher, Deacon’s Wife, choir member, and Missionary. She currently is serving as the Decorative Arts Team Leader, Great Adventure Assistant Teacher age 3-4yrs, and the Worship & Communications Administrator.
Amanda’s hobbies include, sketching, painting, creating floor plans, crafting and being creative. Her favorite food is cheese-less pizza (no-dairy please), and her favorite movies are “Hancock”, and “I am Legend.”
